On behalf of the PAC executive, I’d like to spread some awareness regarding our newly implemented Wolf Pack Fund.

As some of you may have noticed, there is an option on your Hot Lunch ordering page to donate money to our “Wolf Pack Fund”; this is an entirely optional donation tool (at the bottom of the Hot Lunch order page) that families can choose to participate in to support other families in our Edgewood community.

In the past, families in our school community had access to what was called the SFAF fund; this was funding issued by the district to help families who require additional support. Unfortunately, the district has chosen to reallocate that funding and as a result, it is no longer available.

To counteract this, the executive implemented our very own Wolf Pack Fund! It’s important to note that the dollar amount we can offer families rests entirely on the generosity of our community and therefor is subject to change. Each request is adjudicated on a case-by-case basis and handled with the utmost care and confidentiality – we completely understand that it can be difficult to ask for support! We’re here to help and we encourage families to reach out if they require additional support. That’s what community is all about 😊

In its inaugural term and as a direct result of our community’s generosity, we raised over just $1400. 

Your donations directly impact families in our own school community in a positive and meaningful way.

It’s been a huge success, and we wouldn’t be able to support families the way we do if it weren’t for all of you!
